  • The Hennepin History Museum opens its new show "A Century of Aprons: American Women's Aprons - Their Art and Function," on April 30th.

  • The Children's Theatre Company closes out its season with a couple of plays.

  • We are watching two big new developments: "Greenleaf" on Franklin and Nicollet and "Arts Quarter" on 26th and Nicollet. Both include condominiums and a number of new retail businesses. Model units will be on view at Greenleaf by the end of April.

On May 15th, 1965 the Black Forest Inn opened its doors and began serving its famous handmade German fare and suds. It grew, expanded, moved outdoors, served several generations and became the background for large and small events in the lives of thousands of people.
